I'm not one to nap. I need to learn how to nap. Someone teach me how to nap?

There has been a rooster, some crazy neighbor's rooster, a rooster that has been vexing me for the last 2 weeks. He insists on crowing from 5-9am every 30 minutes, every day. Sometimes he crows the whole day, and I don't know why he does this. I guess he's thorough, or sadistic, or plagued by unrequited love, or fucking insane. So.

I tried to take a nap this afternoon after walking a mile home from work in hospital scrubs and stifling heat. But with no air conditioning and the rooster again mouthing off at 3 in the afternoon, I only woke up with a very bad headache. But I guess I did at least get 3 hours of sleep, so maybe I shouldn't complain.

In other news, John Cho was on Loveline last night and he was awesome. They spoke of rectal and vaginal prolapses all night!...If you don't know what that is, I would advise you not look it up. Anyway, I thought his movie looked like crap and excused him for it because I know the man needs to eat, but even my artsy-fartsiest friends said it was surprisingly smart (!) and funny. Like an ethnic Jay and Silent Bob! Ooh. So I ask that you watch "HAROLD AND KUMAR" and give the man monies, even though I just found out he's 32 and much too old for me. (Asians age so well. :O At least until we hit 50, then we shrivel up and end up all ghoulish.)
